I may have over packed anti-nausea meds but better safe than sorry...I know my own limits when it comes to sea sickness. Most of these items I already owned. However, I did have to buy most of the base layers new and invest in some backup RX eyewear.
I am allowed two 50-lbs checked bags which will get an even split of my necessities, just in case one of my bags goes missing from all the plane connections. Also, I may not be able to access my checked luggage for the ship-based portions of the trip (~10 days worth), so I have to pack a portion of my personal gear into my day bag.
